Up for sale, a 2004 Fender Precision Bass ‘70 vintage reissue model PB70-70US in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. A rare custom color "Crafted in Japan" model, the Daphne Blue gloss finish shows some yellowing in the clear coat pushing the color towards Surf Green.

This bass features a factory-installed Fender USA split coil pickup, along with a few select vintage-spec touches including a block logo on the headstock and correct thumb rest placement. One welcome deviation from vintage spec is a thick slab rosewood fretboard (as opposed to a thinner veneer board seen on actual vintage examples). With an alder body as its sonic foundation, this bass delivers the goods with warm thump, excellent articulation, and sweet treble growl. Weighing 8lbs 14oz, this Precision Bass PB70 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Daphne Blue finish presents cleanly with gentle yellowing of the clear coat. There are just a couple tiny dings on the back and body perimeter, while the gloss on the neck profile is flawless, and there’s a ghosting of the letters “P-U-N-K” on the tuner buttons.

The original Fender-branded gigbag is included.
