The Spirit of Van Halen Lives on

Edward Van Halen’s contributions to the electric guitar are undeniable, and the EVH Wolfgang Special QM Electric Guitar delivers the massive sound and road-tested durability befitting of its legendary namesake. EVH humbuckers in the bridge and neck unleash a blistering yet clear sound, with upgraded volume and tone pots producing smoother swells and clearer tone. The basswood body topped with quilted maple and quartersawn baked maple neck combine for excellent sustain and durability, with a silky baked maple fingerboard ideal for finger-twisting runs and searing leads. Designed to his exact specifications and intentionally positioned against the body, the dive-bomb-only D-Tuna-equipped Floyd Rose lets you mimic Eddie’s signature trem work with ease, along with giving you instant access to Drop D tuning. The EVH Wolfgang Special QM is on fire — pick one up and unleash your creativity while channeling the spirit of a true rock icon.

World-class electronics worthy of a guitar legend

Run through the wringer and approved by the man himself, EVH humbuckers are a standard in all Wolfgang Special QM guitars. Alnico 2 humbuckers in the bridge and neck go from singing highs to screaming leads with ease, courtesy of a 3-way toggle. Achieving that perfect Van Halen tone requires more than just high-quality pickups, and the Wolfgang Special QM is outfitted with several top-of-the-line components to round out its authentic EVH-inspired sound. Volume swells are smoother than ever with the 500K EVH Bourns low-friction pot, and a 250K Bourns high-friction pot on the tone knob prevents unwanted tone shifts.
