Model Details

• Model 200: This version features the "white face" cosmetic design with a white logo rather than the earlier blue logo of the Model 100’s.
• Era: Production of the Model 200 ran from late 1987 through 1992, and serial numbers in the SP17,xxx range correspond to units built during 1988.
• Back Panel: The stamped text on the rear panel of this unit explicitly reads "Model 200".

The Core Sonic Characteristics

• Severe Compression: The built-in, aggressive compressor squashes dynamic range completely. It levels out the attack and provides endless, singing sustain without requiring high volume.
• "Parked Wah" Midrange: The tonal signature centers around a narrow mid-frequency bump (around 800Hz–1kHz). This gives it a focused, "cocked wah" honk that slices straight through a dense mix.
• Aggressive Filtering: Integrated high-cut filters and a phase-notcher circuit aggressively control the extreme highs and lows. This shapes a smooth, pre-equalized response designed for direct-to-board recording.
• Smooth Solid-State Distortion: The overdrive and distortion modes are tightly controlled, fluid, and dense. They lack dynamic tube sag but provide a uniform laser-focused sustain ideal for fluid legato lines.
• Cleans: The clean settings (especially Clean 2) produce an ultra-crisp, bright, and percussive "spank". It mimics direct-to-console funk and pop tones, delivering a glassy chime devoid of amp break-up.

All original, with face plate intact with no cracks or screws missing.  All sliders and pushbuttons are intact and work as designed.
