To look like it was recovered from the bottom of the Caribbean.” The result is this spectacular 2015 Fender Custom Shop ’60 Stratocaster, Masterbuilt by Jason Smith, wearing a Hand-Stained Transparent Turquoise Satin NOS finish with black grain filler. The grain is so ridiculously visible that the guitar practically comes with its own topographical map. Add the figured quartersawn maple neck, brushed aluminum pickguard and HSS pickup configuration, and this is about as far from “just another blue Strat” as you can get without putting headlights on it.

Born on July 6th, 2015, this Jason Smith Masterbuilt Strat remains in excellent condition. And yes, the dramatic dark grain and irregular coloration you see running through that Transparent Turquoise body is supposed to be there — that’s the black grain filler doing its thing, not evidence that someone spilled motor oil on your Strat.

It includes the original Fender Custom Shop hard shell case, case candy, Shop Floor Traveler and Certificate of Authenticity. The traveler confirms the unusual recipe right down to the hand-stained Transparent Turquoise finish, black grain filler, chunky Soft-V neck, Fat ’50s singles, Black Enforcer bridge humbucker and push-push coil split.

Basically, Fender handed Jason Smith a Stratocaster recipe, and Jason responded, “Sure... but what if we make absolutely none of it boring?”

Return Policy- 

We do accept returns up to 14 days from the point of the initial sale, which means that the guitar must be back in our possession within this 14 day period. However, please be aware of the following conditions: If for any reason you wish to return the guitar, just call or email me directly, within 24 hours of your receiving the item, and let me know that you want to return it. Once we receive the guitar back, in the same condition, you will receive a refund, less a $50 restock fee. Also be aware that the initial shipping fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
