What we present here to sell today is more than a rarity. This is an ultra rare instrument from the golden era of Ernie Ball Musicman, a real piece of history.
This is Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string bass, probably a custom shop order from 1979/1980's, a left handed version. Serial number of the bridge plate: B016248
It is 100% original with original case and even the original Strap that was bought or provided at the time of purchase. We got this from the a relative of the original owner.
The bass is played, frets present some marks and there are time and usage marks around the body as you can see on the pictures.
It has an incredibly flamed maple neck and fretboard, electronics are working in order as well as pickups.
There's not much more to say about this very special piece of history that is playing perfectly.
There's the need of a setup with fret level, which we can do and ship the instrument 100% ready to play with fresh strings and setup according to the new buyer preferences. All of this must be negotiated on private message. The listing price does not reflect this service.
We all ship our instruments with insurance via UPS. We have been shipping instruments all over the world with great sucess.
