2004 Fender American Series Telecaster

- Nashville Conversion -

I’ve owned this guitar for a little over 10 years and recently converted it to a Nashville configuration earlier this year. This set up gives you everything you would expect from a telecaster while getting you well into Strat territory. Very unique spectrum of tone. All hardware and electronics are genuine fender parts except for the middle pickup and control plate. Below is a list of everything

- All hardware switched from chrome to gold (Fender gold cast tuners with pearl tuning heads, Fender 6 saddle hardtail bridge)

- Fender Gen. 4 Noiseless Pickups w/ Seymour Duncan DuckBucker (single coil sized humbucker made to be voiced like a Strat middle) added to middle position

- 920D Custom 7-Way Telecaster Switch (Gives standard 5 way SSS pickup selections. With push/pull pot engaged in the bridge position you get N/B like a Tele middle, and the 2nd position gives you all three pickups together)

- Pearloid pick guard to match the tuning heads

- Pickup cavity has been copper shielded

- Gator hard shell case included along with everything in it (Saddle adjustment tool, 3-4 packs of DR Blues strings 10-46, and a set of flatwounds that are 9s I believe)

*** Minor crack in finish on the top side of the heel and small chip at the top of the headstock pictured above. The four gold screws are to fill holes from a previously mounted Bigsby which can be included w/ hardware for an additional $40, it has a silver/nickel looking finish. Aside from that there is nothing outside of the typical wear that a 22 year old guitar would have ***

It’s been a rock solid guitar and has been played in churches, in several venues, and in the bedroom. It’s very comfortable which is not typical of Telecasters and I hate to see it go but things are tight and we need the money more.
