The Studiologic Numa X Piano 73 is a premium digital stage piano that represents a real revolution for digital piano players, combining a brand-new sound engine, lush effects, and performance-oriented features in a portable package. High-end features, sounds, and effects have been designed and organized to be controlled in an easy, intuitive, and effective way to offer the best feeling in performance. It's the perfect combination of a top-quality instrument based on a new sound generation architecture with a four-zone MIDI controller derived from the renowned SL Line, plus a four-track digital mixer and USB audio interface. This 73-key model uses a shorter version of the acclaimed TP/110 keybed — 8.4" shorter and 5 lb lighter than the 88-key version — taking the Numa X series' portability to the extreme.
Key elements of its design:
- New Sound Generation Architecture Numa X's sound architecture is based on multi-sampling (True Sound), Wave Shaping, and real Physical Modelling to recreate a true-to-life piano feel. Over 200 factory sounds are grouped into eight banks, covering studio-quality acoustic and electric pianos, keyboards, basses, guitars, synths, organs, and orchestral sounds.
- Acoustic & Electric Modeling Studiologic's Acoustic and Electric modeling technology delivers incredible realism, breathing life into acoustic pianos with string and duplex resonance, damper noise, release and key-off sounds, while the electric pianos capture vintage units with detailed physical modeling.
- Fatar TP/110 Keybed At the center is the Fatar hammer-action TP/110 keybed with three contacts and aftertouch — a massive improvement over the TP/100 design with new hammers, sturdy keys, and impressive bounce reduction. Aftertouch is triggered by the hammers for more accurate control, with four velocity curves, general sensitivity, and black/white balance to dial in the perfect feel.
- Four Zones & Powerful FX Four assignable key zones let you layer, split, or switch sounds, or control external MIDI devices. The powerful FX engine, modeled from real hardware, provides two FX (FX1 + FX2) for each of your four selected sounds, plus master delay and reverb (FDN technology).
- Built-In Mixer & USB Audio Interface Numa X Piano includes four audio inputs and a four-track digital mixer with gain and EQ (Bass/Mid/Treble), letting you mix and record external sources such as microphones, bass, guitars, or other keyboards, along with a USB audio interface.
- UXlogic Adaptive Interface The intuitive UXlogic UI features a razor-sharp color display and color-coded encoders that visually guide you through the piano's numerous functions, enabling quick real-time access and tweaking without getting in the way of your performance.
- Numa Manager & Expandable Memory Onboard storage holds 250 user sounds, with a generous section of memory left free for additional sounds published on the Studiologic website. The Numa Manager desktop app lets you move and reorder factory and user programs and handles easy firmware updates.
Reviewers highlight the upgraded feel. Kraft Music notes the TP/110 is a massive improvement over the TP/100 with new hammers, sturdy keys, and impressive bounce reduction, with aftertouch triggered by the hammers for more accurate control — and remarkably light for better portability.
