In basic terms, the Hydrasynth Deluxe combines two Hydrasynth sound engines into one unit and marries it with a 73-note keyboard, giving you the power to bend, twist, and morph 16 voices of digital wave-morphing synthesis into an ocean of evolving textures. It can operate as a single 16-voice instrument or be split/layered with a dedicated 8-voice Hydrasynth engine per part, each with its own set of balanced analog audio outputs. Its advanced wavetable synthesis engine, three oscillators, dual wave mutators, and two filters that can be configured in series or parallel provide the Hydrasynth Deluxe with unmatched tone-generating capabilities.

Key elements of its design:

• Dual Sound Engines Embrace bi-timbral glory: play two independent patches simultaneously with KeySplit or Dual voice modes, maintaining a lush 8 voices of polyphony for each individual part, or combine both engines for a single 16-voice instrument. Each engine has its own set of separate balanced analog audio outputs for processing split patches as separate tracks.
• Wave-Morphing Oscillators Each of the two sound engines features three oscillators with Wave Morph, letting you scan smoothly through banks of single-cycle waveforms, plus a noise source and ring modulation for rich, complex tone generation.

The envelopes have a total of six stages, with flexibility over curvature, sync to tempo, and trigger source, while LFOs include a 64-step sequencer option.
• Expressive Polytouch Keybed & Ribbon The proprietary 73-note Polytouch keybed offers polyphonic aftertouch control over each individual note, and is MPE-compatible. Add a four-octave ribbon controller (Pitch Bend, Mod Only, and Theremin modes) plus ergonomically designed pitch and mod wheels for expression not equaled by any other hardware synthesizer.
