The Vintage A. Zildjian Connection
Because this is a first-generation machine-lathed cymbal from the New Brunswick factory, it was crafted using the exact same tooling, B20 bronze formulas, and automated lathing techniques that Robert Zildjian brought with him from the original family split.
The tight, precise tonal grooves running from the bell to the edge are practically identical to late-1970s and early-1980s Avedis Zildjian cymbals. In fact, many vintage drum historians note that these early 80s "Pre-AA" hollow-logo cymbals are arguably some of the finest "A-style" cymbals ever made because of the intense quality control of a young, hungry Sabian company proving itself to the market.

Sabian 20" Crash Ride - 2132g | from this era is a masterclass in utility and versatility. Having aged for over 40 years, the bronze has matured into a very musical instrument
Sabian 22" HH Medium Ride - 3301g | Tonally well balanced with good stick definition. This is the classic ride cymbal. From the mid 1980's, the "Solid Font" is considered the 2nd generation of Sabian. A beautifully hand hammered cymbal with 40 years for the B20 bronze to completely settle, giving it an even mellower, darker and more complex tone than when it first came out.
Vintage cymbal case included
cymbals show some light wear, NO cracks, dents or keyholing (except the 18" DOES have a small fingernail size dent near the bell hole. Does not affect the sound) Some patina in areas. 22" has some duct tape residue.
