If you know, you know. Orville By Gibson ES-175D in rare antique natural finish. This one is from 1993 and is in amazing condition both cosmetically and play wise. I simply cannot overstate the incredible condition of this guitar.

Orville By Gibson guitars are guitars licensed by Gibson and made in the Terada factory in Japan with all Gibson electronics and hardware. These guitars have a full nitro finish and fret nibs, just like a Gibson. This extraordinarily clean example features Gibson '57 Classic pickups. The guitar has a solid feel and weighs 7lb.

This guitar was barely played and must have lived in it's case full-time with hardly any age on the guitar. Most of the wear is on the electronics, some light tarnishing on the face of the pickups. On ES-175's the rubber grommet that surrounds the pickup selector switch are notorious for rotting - this one looks brand new.

Recent full fret level and setup, plays extremely well with the current Thomastik JS112 strings. Note that there is a strap button on the upper bout/rim. The prior owner had their luthier install a small wood block inside the guitar so there would be no pullout. New bone nut with slightly wider string spacing. Original nut is in the case.
