This is a superb 2025 Fender Player II Stratocaster in the brilliant Coral Red finish, with a slab rosewood fingerboard and the aged white plastics that suit this colour perfectly.

It was bought brand new only a couple of months ago as a gift for the previous owner. He quickly realised he was much more of a Les Paul player, so this Strat has spent virtually its entire life at home and has probably seen no more than around ten minutes of actual playing time.

Condition is therefore about as close to new as you could realistically expect from a pre-owned guitar. The body, neck and headstock are exceptionally clean with no dings, chips or notable marks that we can see. There may be the odd tiny handling mark and a couple of very light marks to the pickguard if inspected closely, but that really is about it.

The frets are effectively unworn and the guitar plays exactly as you would expect from such a lightly used example.

The Player II series was a significant update to Fender’s hugely successful Player range. This model gets the familiar alder Strat body, but the neck now has rolled fingerboard edges, a satin-backed Modern C profile and a proper slab rosewood fingerboard, giving it a noticeably more refined feel than the previous generation.

A trio of Fender Player Series Alnico V single coils provides everything you would want from a modern Strat: clear neck tones, the classic in-between sounds from positions two and four, and plenty of bite from the bridge pickup. Fender also fitted the Player II with ClassicGear tuners and a two-point synchronized tremolo.

At £599, this represents a substantial saving against the current £749 new price for this exact Coral Red model, particularly when you consider just how little use this guitar has had.

Condition

Exceptionally clean and very close to new.

There are no significant dings, chips or scratches that we can see. At most there are a few extremely light handling marks and minor marks to the pickguard consistent with the tiny amount of use it has had.
