Comes with OHSC - vintage tweed w/ red velvet interior. Original case candy not included. Instrument purchased from McKenzie River Music in Eug, OR, a highly reputable guitar shop specializing in high end guitars including vintage and “boutique.”
THIS GUITAR:
Has straight neck - no warping/twisting, truss rod in fully working order, fret wear very minimal / tonnns of fret life left, all original hardware and electronics, no mods from stock spec, purchased from highly reputable McKenzie river music in Eugene, OR, approx 4 years ago, and overwhelmingly spent its life in its case in the studio. Used only minimally for session work, and in excellent condition. Surface scratches, blemishing is found on nearly every single example of this particular instrument. I almost thought this was an intentional relic work, however, I’ve since learned the wear is due to common wear patterns + the blonde “thin skin” lacquer, which was applied the same way as in 1958. As far as I’m best aware, any/all marks in finishing were there when i purchased the instrument. Again, apparently, it’s not distressed from the factory (however, if someone informed me otherwise, I would still not be surprised! Hah

“Fender USA American Vintage ‘58 Telecaster Maple Neck Aged White Blonde
For the guitarist who craves pure vintage Fender style, the American Vintage series presents original-era model year guitars built with meticulous attention to accurate detail that bring Fender history and heritage to authentic and exciting new life.
Original-era rock ‘n’ roll was in full swing in 1958, and the Telecaster was right there with it, already a must-have instrument for working guitarists nationwide. Built using original tooling and based on early 1958 models we tracked down, the U.S.-made American Vintage ‘58 Telecaster is a must-have model for the guitarist who appreciates its place in music history, a transitional year when the Tele took on subtly stylish new design touches, including a “D”-shaped neck profile and staggered bridge pickup pole pieces.
