This Martin D12-45 was made in the USA in 1971. This is a very rare model, we have read only 102 of these were made between 1969 and 2000. This example is in good cosmetic condition but would benefit from a neck reset as the action is high and the saddle low. That said, it is playable currently. The guitar has been refretted and has a built in barcus berry pickup installed. There is also a filled hole in the bridge from where a pickup was previously installed. The finish is original. The pickguard has been changed. All in all this is a stunning instrument and with a neck reset would be a fabulous player and collectors item. It comes with a very nice Mark Leaf case.
