Beautiful 2009 Gibson SG ’61 Reissue in Heritage Cherry, preserved in exceptional condition.

This is a particularly clean example of Gibson’s highly regarded ’61 Reissue, featuring the classic early-SG specifications: slim-taper neck profile, small pickguard, ABR-1-style bridge and the elegant proportions associated with the original 1961 design.

The guitar has had only two owners from new — the original owner, who purchased it new in Europe in 2009, and myself.

Its condition is excellent to near-mint for a 17-year-old instrument. The Heritage Cherry finish remains rich and vibrant, with very little evidence of use. The hardware and plastics are also remarkably clean. Please examine the photographs closely for the exact cosmetic condition.

The guitar comes with its Gibson hard case as well as its original documentation and case candy, including the Gibson inspection/checklist and, importantly, the original 2009 purchase invoice.

The combination of condition, provenance and surviving documentation makes this a particularly complete example for both a player and a collector.
