Dream Cymbals CHAU32 Chau Black Dot Gong, 32"

A 32" Chau gong, hand-hammered bronze with the traditional black-lacquered centre dot. The Chau — the tam-tam — is the orchestral gong: strike it and the sound swells for a couple of seconds before it peaks, then hangs in the room. At 32" it is a genuinely large instrument with serious low end, the size orchestras and theatre pits use, and it needs a proper gong stand.

Hand-made and hand-hammered, so each one has its own character. Mallet and stand sold separately.
