Dream Cymbals CHAU16 Chau Black Dot Gong, 16"

A 16" Chau gong from Dream, hand-hammered bronze with the traditional black-lacquered centre dot. The Chau is the gong you hear in film scores and Chinese opera: strike it and the note swells for a second or two before it peaks, then hangs. At 16" it is small enough to hand-hold or hang on a light stand, with a higher, quicker bloom. Mallet and stand sold separately.
