The 7A is the thinner, lighter stick in Kuppmen's carbon fiber line, for jazz, quieter gigs, students, or anyone who finds a 5A too much stick. Like the rest of the range it's carbon fiber rather than hickory, so it holds its shape instead of chipping on rimshots, and pairs come out identical in weight and pitch.
