Rare pair of Stage Accompany SA57 Master Series professional monitors, complete with their heavy-duty wheeled flight cases and exceptional mastering-studio provenance.

I purchased these directly from Grammy-winning mastering engineer Harold LaRue, whom I have known personally for years. These were Harold’s working SA57 monitors in his Houston mastering room. The historical studio photographs included in the listing show this exact pair in use in his mastering setup.

Harold used this pair in his mastering work, including Wayne Shorter’s Celebration, Volume 1 for Blue Note Records. LaRue is officially credited as the mastering engineer on that release.

The SA57 is a rare Dutch professional monitor built around Stage Accompany’s distinctive M57 Compact Driver, combined with dual woofers in a substantial cabinet. The rear Master Series interface provides for active or passive operation; I have been using them passively with conventional amplification.

These are serious monitors: extremely fast, dynamic and resolving, with excellent imaging and transient response. They also work remarkably well as high-end home loudspeakers rather than simply as near-field studio tools.

The cabinets present very nicely overall. They have had a working professional life, so please examine the detailed photographs for exact cosmetic condition. I have intentionally included close-ups, rear views and historical studio photographs rather than trying to hide normal evidence of use.

Sidenote— I used these in multiple rooms. They do great even in small spaces. shockingly good in a well treated 10x10 room. They also fill a large space beautifull.
