Vintage 1978 Gibson Marauder with Gibson Chainsaw case
Guitar is in great shape for its age and has been played and loved!
As with most vintage this does have some scratches a little buckle rash and dings. Overall this guitar is in very good condition for its age.
Original Tuning keys but looks like at some point mybe a different set was added then these were put back on. pick holes were filled. Little finish check on bass side wing of the neck see pics. Frets have a lot of life in them no dead spots and the notes ring out like great guitar should! Has a Brass nut which is a killer upgrade for this era of Gibson.
Plays like a great Gibson low action nice and easy with a fat neck! Sounds great! Neck pickup is full on Gibson Neck tone and bridge pickup sits somewhere between tele and an SG. I love this one and always snubbed these in the past cause of the bolt on necks but after owning a few of these in the last few years these are a sleeper guitar and really have a great feel and sound!
These have been going up in Value Lately they should only accrue value more as they age.
