Dramatically downsizing to help fund farm operations. Listing more than 40 pieces in the coming days. Please check my other listings.

My private studio collection is unfortunately being gutted right now to keep up with the demands of our farm. As much as it hurts to let some of this go, it is what it is. Because I'm strictly a hobbyist, a lot of the gear I am listing is practically untouched.

I bought this Telefunken ELA M 260 Master Stereo Set brand new from Sweetwater, and it has been used exactly twice. Because this is the "Master Stereo Set," it includes the matched pair of microphones, the American-made dual-channel power supply, and all three sets of interchangeable capsules (Cardioid, Omni, and Hypercardioid), all housed in a gorgeous locking flight case.

When it came time to downsize, I found myself having to choose between keeping this set or a stereo pair of vintage Neumann 84s. Honestly, if it were a purely blind audio shootout, I would likely be keeping these 260s. Thanks to the NOS EF-732 vacuum tubes, the Telefunkens just have this incredible, three-dimensional depth and warm, organic smoothness that solid-state mics simply can't replicate. They bring out the body and resonance of acoustic guitars and drum overheads in a way that feels incredibly lifelike. But nostalgia is a powerful thing, and the vintage bug got the better of me. I decided to hold onto my old Neumanns, which means someone will get a great deal on a virtually new set of these 260s.

Key Features / Specs:

• Circuit: Features premium NOS (New Old Stock) EF-732 / 5840W vacuum tubes and custom-wound Telefunken T60 output transformers for classic tube warmth.
• Capsules: Includes 3 matched pairs of interchangeable thread-on capsules: TK60 (Cardioid), TK61 (Omnidirectional), and TK62 (Hypercardioid).
• Power: M 960S dual-channel power supply (fully regulated, powers both mics simultaneously with a slow-ramping heater voltage to extend tube life).
• Includes: (2) M 260 tube mics, (6) total capsules, dual power supply, (2) 7-pin tube mic cables, (2) elastic shock mounts, windscreens, and premium locking flight case.

Let me know if you have any questions. As I mentioned above doing serious liquidation to help support the horse sanctuary so will be listing a lot in the upcoming days.

re: RETURNS I have noticed in recent years here and on other sites there seems to be an increase of buyers that purchase an item, practically invent some sort of problem or issue, and then hold the seller's feedback ransom in order to get a few bucks back for free. That is why I am making it perfectly clear in my listings that I do not accept returns. Please ask all questions up front (additional condition details, request more pictures, etc.). However, if you check my feedback both here and on a popular auction site ( jmarsh45 ) you will see that I have a perfect 100% feedback rating of over 1,500 across both platforms over the past 20+ years. I take my feedback and my gear very seriously even though I am a hobbyist. So please know that if there is a genuine problem, I am sure we can work something out. Just reach out before or after with any questions or issues.
