1972 Gibson J-45 Deluxe – Vintage Gibson with LR Baggs HiFi Pickup

For sale is a 1972 Gibson J-45 Deluxe, a vintage Gibson from the Norlin-era. This is a great-sounding, playable vintage guitar with plenty of character and honest signs of its nearly 55 years of age.

The guitar is in good overall condition for its age, but it does have a history of repairs that I want to be completely transparent about.

Condition & Repairs:

• Headstock has had a professional repair.
• The bridge has been lowered/sanded down some.
• Action is slightly high, but the guitar is still very playable.
• There have been cracks on the back that have been repaired.
• Normal cosmetic wear and signs of use consistent with the guitar's age.
• LR Baggs HiFi pickup installed, making it ready to plug in and play live.

This is not a collector-grade, all-original example, but it is a vintage Gibson that has been played, repaired, and kept in usable condition. The repairs and modifications are reflected in the price.
