The Fender The Bends V2 Compressor Pedal is a versatile compressor and boost combination designed to deliver smooth, natural dynamics with exceptionally low noise. Suitable for both guitar and bass, its analogue compression circuit uses a unique take on OTA technology to respond naturally to your playing, evening out volume differences while adding sustain, thickness and character to your tone.

Fender The Bends V2 Compressor Pedal

The Bends V2 gives you extensive control over your compression with Attack, Release and Input controls, while the Blend control allows you to mix your dry signal back into the effect for a natural playing feel and preserved pick attack. An active Tone control with centre detent lets you cut or boost treble to compensate for any lost sparkle, while the rear-mounted Vintage switch changes the character of the compression from crisp and precise to smooth and harmonically coloured with a hint of natural saturation.

The independent ultra-clean boost circuit adds even more versatility, with a Comp Pre/Post switch allowing you to position the boost before or after the compressor. Place it before the compressor for increased sustain and a Nashville-style response, or after the compressor for a transparent volume boost that is ideal for solos. True or buffered bypass can also be selected, while the multiswitch-enabled footswitches support both latching and momentary operation.

The Fender The Bends V2 Compressor Pedal is housed in a durable aluminium enclosure and features an LED that indicates when compression is active. With its combination of natural-sounding analogue compression, vintage voicing, flexible boost routing and comprehensive switching options, The Bends V2 is a highly capable addition to any guitar or bass pedalboard.

The Fender The Bends V2 Compressor Pedal is now available from Merchant City Music, online and in our Glasgow store.
