The Korg Toneworks G5 Synth Bass Processor is from 1995, so a vintage bit of kit, but a highly regarded one, that is sought after by bassists. Check out Reddit groups and you will see that. Its a great looking stage bass guitar synth that is ruggedly built, takes some of its look from the vintage Poly 800 synth (which I had until recently), and has an unusual and effective layering of two waveforms, with one sitting an octave down. That really thickens the sound. The attached video (which I hope you will be able to access. I had a few difficulties getting it to work, but you can find it on Youtube under the heading 'Korg ToneWorks G5 Synth Bass Processor overview' if not) gives a complete run through and test of this actual unit, so you can see how it looks and works. With 9 user programmable pre-sets to save your own patches to, it is very easy to use live.

The unit is in very good condition, with only a few small surface blemishes (see photos), commensurate with its age, but they are barely noticeable and obviously have no affect on how it sounds.

Why am I selling? This is brilliant for live, but I now work mainly in the studio so process things through the external input of my various analogue synths or post recording, so it simply hasn't been getting enough use. I do love Korg gear. It is always very well made and reliable and this unit has never given me any trouble. I don't have the original box or manual, which is reflected in the price, but I will include a printout of the manual and a 9V PSU, and it will be extremely well packed with lots of bubble wrap in a sturdy box. It will be sent by Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked.
