The ART TubeFire 8 is an eight-channel discrete Class-A vacuum tube microphone preamplifier with integrated FireWire audio interface. Each of the eight channels accepts mic or line signals via rear-panel TRS/XLR combo inputs, with dedicated front-panel instrument inputs on channels 1 and 2. Mic/line gain reaches up to 70dB, while the instrument inputs offer up to 40dB of gain. Per-channel controls include switchable +48V phantom power (in banks of four), an 80Hz high-pass filter, a -10dB pad, and phase invert. Eight balanced TRS outputs feed your DAW or outboard gear, dual FireWire 1394a ports allow daisy-chaining, and a headphone output with zero-latency analog monitoring rounds out the connectivity. Recording is supported at up to 96kHz/24-bit, making the TubeFire 8 a capable front-end for multi-source tracking sessions.
