G2 V2 - Preamp/Overdrive, Green Channel

Boasting all-new aesthetics and a fine-tuned circuit, Revv’s G2 V2 overdrive pedal brings the sound of the company’s revered Green Channel to your pedalboard. It’s a sound beloved by scores of Nashville session stalwarts for its exceptional dynamics and clarity-packed tone.

The G2 V2 excels as a classic crunch box, a tool to boost your tube amp into sweet saturation, or as your always-on secret weapon. Like the original G2, this updated version sports a versatile 3-band EQ and wide-ranging Volume/Gain knobs to shape your sound — in fact, Revv tells that the G2 has the widest gain and EQ range of any Revv stompbox.

Moreover, the G2 V2’s 3-way switch supplies three distinct voices to explore: Off for a full-range boost with 3-band EQ; Blue for the Green Channel’s signature touch-responsive breakup; and Red for an authentic amp-like gain feel. Finished off with handsome cosmetics and a compact, pedalboard-friendly metal enclosure, the Revv G2 V2 overdrive arms you with top-shelf tone that will surely make fellow musicians green with envy.

G2 V2 - A GIANT LEAP FORWARD

Revv's original G series pedals, modeled after its Generator 120 MKII, were such a hit for their abilities to faithfully reproduce the spark of their respective colored channels’ gain circuits. Following the release of the Generator 120 MKIII, fans of the Canadian-born high-gain monster wanted to have its essence captured in the same single pedal form factor. Just like the transition between the Generator MKII and MKIII, Revv's G series V2 line of pedals enhances the overall gain structure and touch sensitivity to achieve an even better amp-like response. Unbox your G2 V2, and the difference will be clear — V2 circuitry delivers crisper, more articulate tone to your pedalboard.
