Vintage 1960s Gretsch Model 6165 2x12 Tube Combo Amp Up for sale is a pure mojo machine: a mid-1960s Gretsch Model 6165 tube combo amplifier. Built in Chicago by the legendary Valco Manufacturing Company, this 35-watt dual-6L6 gigging monster is famous for its lush, tube-driven spring reverb and its hypnotic, pitch-shifting True Vibrato circuit. This is a true "player's grade" vintage amp. It has the battle scars of a well-traveled instrument, but it has the unmistakable, warm American tube tone to match.

The covering is wearing around the corners, and one side has a piece of the covering missing. Screen has some markings on it, but otherwise in good shape. All original knobs, some of lettering is faded after 60 plus years of use. Some of the capacitors and other parts were replaced when it was serviced back to life, all other parts are original.
