The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty Premium Select is the kind of guitar that makes you rethink what a high-performance instrument can feel like. Built around John Petrucci's exacting preferences, this 6-string in Carnelian Red combines a sleek, ergonomic design with a mahogany neck-through body, alder wings, and a thick maple top that gives it a powerful combination of warmth, sustain, and cutting articulation. It feels incredibly balanced in your hands, with the sculpted body and unrestricted upper-fret access making the entire instrument feel purpose-built for players who demand everything from their guitar.

The ebony fingerboard carries 24 stainless steel medium jumbo frets and glow-in-the-dark side dots, giving you a smooth, effortless path from the lowest riffs to the highest-register leads. Underneath your fingers, the neck has the substantial stability you'd expect from a premium instrument without ever feeling cumbersome, while the floating Music Man tremolo responds smoothly to everything from subtle vibrato to dramatic pitch dives. It's an exceptionally refined playing experience that rewards precision but never gets in the way of expression.

The tonal possibilities are where the Majesty Premium Select really earns its name. DiMarzio Rainmaker and Dreamcatcher humbuckers deliver the articulate, high-output voice Petrucci is known for, while the piezo system adds a completely different dimension for crystalline textures and acoustic-like clarity. With coil tapping, independent magnetic and piezo volume controls, stereo or mono operation, and a powerful onboard gain boost, this is a guitar capable of covering an enormous range of sounds without losing its identity. The Majesty Premium Select is a serious instrument for players who want world-class playability, versatility, and tone in one beautifully engineered package. Available now at Haggerty's Music.
