Made in Japan in August of 1976. Beautiful craftsmanship
This was hand made in Japan and extremely well made. It has a spruce top, rosewood sides and back, ebony neck, and black pick guard. There is a HOHNER decal on the headstock, reminiscent of a Martin D-35. There is herringbone binding and back strip with small, simple fleur-de-lis fingerboard dots.
There is no bellying or cracks. There are some pick marks on the top
The tuning posts were replaced with Stewmac. The fingerboard is in good condition and the frets have minimal wear. The action at the 12th fret is 1/16″. The new strings are Elixir Nanoweb .10s. Ships in chipboard case.
