Rogers - 5x14" Dyna-Sonic Snare Drum 1968-1971 - Chrome Over Brass
This Dyna-Sonic is complete, and in great condition. Nothing missing, damaged or broken. No issues. It's a great example of one of the most popular snare drums ever made.
Designed by Joe Thompson, the patented floating snare frame allowed the snare wires to maintain even contact with the bottom head without being pulled tight against it, resulting in exceptional sensitivity and articulation.
This example dates to the late 1960s to early 1970s. Chrome-over-brass Dyna-Sonics are among the most sought-after Rogers snares due to their warm, rich tone and legendary craftsmanship.
Features
- 5x14" seamless chrome-over-brass shell
- Chrome finish
- Beavertail lugs
- Patented Dyna-Sonic floating snare frame system
- Chrome triple-flanged hoops
- Tone control (muffler)
- Rogers script logo
- Made in USA
- Serial Number: 45323
The brass shell delivers a fuller, warmer voice than the chrome-over-steel version while retaining the incredible articulation that made the Dyna-Sonic famous. Crisp ghost notes, sensitive brush response, and a fat, musical backbeat.
