Offered for sale is this Custom Modded Fender Stratocaster Guitar, Candy Apple Red Finish with David Allen Echoes Custom Wound Pickups. These pickups are designed with the goal of re-creating the tones from several David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) decades. The guitar features a Genuine Fender Classic 60's Stratocaster body, Candy Apple Red Finish w/Cream Pickguard and Genuine Fender Player Series Maple Neck w/Pau Fero Fretboard. Locking tuners have replaced the originals and the neck shows the original mounting holes (see picture). The neck features a Bone Nut (upgrade) and Block Inlays. Rounding out the hardware is a Fender Vintage Tremolo System, Chrome Hardware and Modern Wiring Harness featuring Fender 250k Pots & .047uf Capacitor. Pickups are a matched set of David Allen Echoes with the bridge PU offering two tonal options via the Push/Pull tone pot. Option 1 (Push) is the standard strat bridge at 7.6k ohm and Option 2 (Pull) has a hotter 12.5k humbuckeresk output which sounds great over-driven. The guitar is a new build in excellent condition with only minor setup playwear. Great feel, neck playability and awesome tone. Tweed Hardshell Case included with purchase.
