Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS 10th Anniversary guitar in Atomic Saffron

Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional HSS 10th Anniversary Guitar in Atomic Saffron

The Nick Johnston Traditional HSS delivers a refined offset design that sits naturally in hand, with a Wenge neck featuring Johnston's signature "C" profile and progressive thickness that accommodates varied grip preferences. The Atomic Saffron finish provides striking visual presence while the instrument maintains the tonal versatility demanded by session and touring musicians. This 10th Anniversary edition balances precision engineering with responsive playability across lead work and rhythm applications.

Playability & Feel

The 25.5" scale length paired with an ebony fretboard and 14" radius creates a smooth, even playing surface suitable for both single-note passages and chord work. 22 jumbo stainless steel frets deliver durability and consistent action, while neck thickness progression from 20.32mm at the 1st fret to 21.59mm at the 12th fret accommodates different hand sizes and playing techniques without fatigue.

Tone & Electronics

The HSS pickup configuration pairs USA Subatomic single coils with a coil-split humbucker, delivering clarity and articulation across a wide tonal spectrum. A push-pull master tone control engages the coil-split function, enabling seamless movement between bright, glassy textures and fuller, saturated tones without switching instruments.
