I bought an egregious amount of these a few years back after receiving a grant to work on a project involving a fair amount of sound design. Project complete, now downsizing.. Honestly, I believe that these things are worth the money just for the access to their software.?! The blocks themselves are genuinely cool and incredibly versatile (I'll be keeping two blocks and their smaller Seaboard controller) but their Equator software is what did it for me. Some of just the basic presets on it are sounds I've never heard before. The developers were extremely creative. There's actually a good amount of thoughtfulness put into their Roli "Studio Player" and "Studio Drums" as well. I've spent a lot of time with both just getting lost coming up with ideas. Anyhow, these are pretty useful in my opinion and are worth checking out whether it be through this ad or someone else's.. Thanks.
