Straight from the pages of ESP’s 1987 catalog, the LTD Surveyor ‘87 is a faithful revival of one of ESP’s most coveted vintage designs — now in a striking Pearl White finish that carries a subtle iridescence, especially under stage lights. This is a bass with real ’80s pedigree and modern build quality.

Built around a classic alder body with a contoured armrest, it delivers deep low-end resonance and punchy mids that cut through any mix. The bolt-on 34” maple neck, thin U profile, and smooth Macassar ebony fingerboard with 21 extra-jumbo frets make for fast, comfortable playing. Tone comes from a Seymour Duncan Vintage P / Vintage Jazz pickup set — all-passive, with volume, balance, and tone controls — covering everything from warm old-school thump to bright, articulate cut. Premium hardware rounds it out: a Gotoh 201B-4 bridge and LTD vintage tuners for rock-solid intonation and tuning stability.
