This Is a 1st year Gibson ES 335 thin top long guard with a fantastic sounding set of PAF‘s. Gibson made 317 ES 335‘s in 1958 and this was made in November of that year. According to the original owner, he installed a different pick up in the neck position for a few years but reinstalled the original PAF and regretted many years later because of the value for splicing the lead. He also removed factory installed bigsby and the pots were replaced long before I purchased this amazing guitar hence the so called “snake bite” plugged holes pictured of the top. The guitar has a very comfortable neck definitely not small but not a base ball bat either. The case has seen many years of travel but is still 100% functional. I also have a brand new Lifton reissue case that can be included for an additional shipping cost.
