1979 Rickenbacker 4001 with a White finish in good condition. All original and complete, including the case. Serial number: SD 2292. (Apr 1979) All-round lovely bass.
The finish has yellowed quite a bit in certain areas, particularly the headstock and around the back edges of the body. There is also lacquer checking throughout. There are some minor scuffs and dings, but overall it's pretty clean. The frets have minor signs of wear but are in great condition overall, with plenty of life left in them. They have been cleaned and polished in our workshop.
Fully set up in our workshop with a set of round-wound strings and a great playing action. All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues, and teh truss rods work as they should. The pots date to '78. Weight: 9 lbs 7.5 oz / 4.29 kg. Nut width: 42 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 23.5 mm.
