1981 Rickenbacker 4003S with an Azureglo finish in good condition. Other than the Gator hard case, it's all original and complete. Serial number: UG 2445. An all-round lovely bass.  

It's quite rare to see a 4001S these days, and especially in this colour. Over the years I have seen several Azureglo 4001 basses, but I dont recall ever having an S model in stock in this colour. There are several small dings and little patches of wear/scuffs in the finish. The neck is straight, the truss rods work correctly, and the frets are in very good condition with plenty of life left in them. All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues. 

Fully set up in our workshop with a set of D'Addario roundwound strings and great playing action. Weight: 9 lbs 5 oz / 4.22 kg. Nut width: 43 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 24.5 mm. The pots date to 1980.
