This is a beautiful example of Meinl’s Byzance Extra Dry Transition Ride, and this particular cymbal has an absolutely killer look.

The unlathed, raw finish gives it that earthy, dark, organic character that Byzance cymbals are known for. It has a wonderfully complex voice with dry, controlled stick definition, a warm, woody attack, and just enough musical wash to keep it from feeling sterile.

And here’s the really cool part:

🎥 The YouTube demo included with this listing is of THIS EXACT CYMBAL, so what you hear in the video is what you’ll receive. No guessing about how this particular cymbal sounds.
