Fender Custom Shop ’72 Telecaster Deluxe Reissue – Journeyman Relic
Up for sale is a beautiful Fender Custom Shop ’72 Telecaster Deluxe Reissue with a Journeyman Relic finish. This is an incredible recreation of one of Fender’s coolest designs from the ’70s, combining classic Telecaster attitude with the bigger, fuller sound of the Deluxe.
The Journeyman Relic treatment gives it the look and feel of a well-loved vintage guitar without being excessively aged. It has just the right amount of checking, wear, and character while still presenting extremely well.
Features include:
● Fender Custom Shop construction
● ’72 Telecaster Deluxe design
● Journeyman Relic finish
● Dual CuNiFe humbuckers
● Classic oversized ’70s Strat-style headstock
● Individual volume and tone controls
● 3-way pickup selector
● Comfortable vintage-inspired neck profile
● Excellent playability and resonance
The Wide Range-style pickups give this guitar a ton of versatility. The bridge has plenty of Tele bite and definition but with more body and output, while the neck is warm, articulate, and full. It handles everything from clean and bluesy tones to classic rock and heavier overdriven sounds extremely well.
The guitar plays and sounds fantastic and has the feel you expect from a Fender Custom Shop instrument. The Journeyman finish also means you can actually play it without worrying about putting the first mark on a pristine guitar.
Condition: Excellent aside from the factory Custom Shop aging/relic work.
Includes: [Original Custom Shop case / COA / case candy — add whichever applies]
A killer Custom Shop Tele Deluxe for someone looking for vintage ’70s Fender character with modern Custom Shop build quality.
All case candy present and included
