Fender Highway One Jazz Bass Upgrade 2007 USA Flat Black Rosewood – Badass II
Fender Highway One Jazz Bass Upgrade made in USA in 2007, finished in Flat Black with rosewood fingerboard.
This model belongs to the upgraded second generation of the Highway One series and features the factory-installed Badass Bass II high-mass bridge, one of the distinctive specifications of this production period.
The bass retains the classic Fender Jazz Bass feel and passive character, with two single-coil pickups and the familiar articulate, dynamic and versatile tone associated with the model.
The electronics have been modified with the addition of a passive mini-toggle switch on the control plate. The switch changes the way the pickups are combined and produces a fuller, stronger and more mid-focused sound, similar to a passive boost. No battery or active preamp is installed.
A black Genuine Fender pickguard is currently fitted.
The instrument is in good overall condition and shows normal signs of use consistent with its age and thin finish, including some light scratches, surface marks and a few small dings. These cosmetic signs do not affect playability or functionality.
The bass comes with a non-original hard case.
A very interesting USA-made Fender Jazz Bass from the Highway One era, combining classic Fender tone and feel with the factory Badass II bridge and an additional passive switching option.
