Here’s an oddity. This originally started out life as a 1970s Gibson SG Special, likely walnut. Would have had mini humbuckers. At some point, this guitar was massively modified. Pickups are modern 490R and 498T with gold covers, which sound pretty spankin’ if I do say so myself. Knobs are replaced, as well as tuners, which are Grover locking ones. The refinish job was several owners ago, and as you can tell, was not super professionally done. It’s not bad, but there are a few places where it looks a little jank (I.e. the bottom). The headstock had completely snapped off (as seen in the last few photos) when I received it. It was repaired by the luthier at the store I work at, and I think he did a really great job. Overall, it’s a great player, just not as much my thing. Does not currently have a case, but I’m planning on getting one before I ship it out. If you’re interested and have a suggestion for the case, definitely let me know, and I will try to get that. If you would like any additional pictures or sound samples, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask!
