For sale today is a Gibson LG-1 from 1958. A few notes on the overall condition:

-This guitar has the expected play wear, lacquer checking, dings, & scratches from the last 68 years, plus some lacquer burn on the back, but no major eyesores or outstanding structural issues (see photos).

-There is a repaired pickguard crack that is currently stable.

-The frets have some wear, but they still have plenty of life and the guitar rings out beautifully up and down the fretboard without dead spots, significan buzzing, or other major issues.

-The action is around 7/64" at the 12th fret on the low E and 6/64" on the high E, with some room to come down at the saddle.

-Nut Width is 1 11/16" (42.73mm)

-Weight is 3 lbs. 15.28 oz.

-Includes original chipboard case.
