This is a mandolin that you do not see often and it is EXCELLENT! This Gibson EM-200 "Electric Florentine" is a rare, solid-body electric mandolin produced by Gibson from 1954 to 1971. Built with premium materials heavily inspired by the Gibson Les Paul, it is highly sought after by collectors and musicians looking for a high-output, aggressive "rock and roll" mandolin tone.

• Body & Neck: Features a solid, double-cutaway mahogany body with a carved top and striking Florentine cutaways.
• Electronics: Equipped with a single, high-output Gibson P-90 single-coil pickup configured with master volume and tone controls.
• Headstock: Styled after the classic Gibson F-style mandolin, featuring the traditional Gibson split-diamond "crown" and script logo inlays.
• Hardware: Outfitted with gold-plated hardware, including an engraved Gibson tailpiece and 4-on-a-plate Kluson Deluxe tuners.

This instrument is in overall GREAT shape. Has some play wear and a few little dings....it's over 60 years old! Comes with the shown Gibson HSC. The pickup sounds great and the electronics work perfectly. It weighs just under 5lbs and plays great.
