1985 Greco EGC68-500 Custom Black Beauty – MIJ FujiGen – Gigbag
Greco EGC68-500 – 1968 Les Paul Custom-Style Electric Guitar – Black – Mint Collection – Made in Japan
The Greco EGC68-500 is a highly regarded Japanese-made "lawsuit era" electric guitar from Greco's celebrated Mint Collection, built at the legendary FujiGen Gakki factory. Designed as a remarkably faithful recreation of a 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom, the EGC68-500 combines classic Black Beauty styling with the excellent craftsmanship that made Greco guitars of this era so sought after.
The guitar features a comfortable slim-to-medium 60s C-shaped neck profile and a rosewood fingerboard, offering an easy-playing feel while retaining the substantial character expected from a vintage-style Les Paul.
The ceramic pickups deliver a punchy, high-output bridge tone with plenty of bite, while the neck pickup provides a warmer, smoother voice. Together, they cover everything from classic rock and blues to heavier vintage tones.
