Vox AC50 CCA 1965

1965 Vox AC50 – Vintage British Valve Amplifier – With Rare Cabinet

For sale is a fantastic vintage Vox AC50, most likely dating from 1965.

After carefully inspecting the inside of the amplifier, I found a component marking dated 20/65, which points to the 20th week of 1965. This places the amp in the classic mid-1960s Vox period — one of the most desirable eras for British valve amplifiers.

The amp has been with me for around 15 years. Before that, it belonged to the guitarist from Elektryczne Gitary. During my ownership it has required no repairs; the only thing I replaced was the mains power cable for safety and practical use.

This is a proper vintage Vox with huge character: bold, dynamic, loud and musical, with the unmistakable British midrange, rich harmonic response and strong stage presence that made these amps so special.

The set also includes a very rare and sought-after Vox cabinet, previously owned by Darek Kozakiewicz. From what I have learned, this is a very rare model and highly desirable among Vox collectors. The speakers are pre-Rola Greenbacks. I prefer not to list the speaker numbers here — detailed photos can be provided instead.
