Strymon MultiSwitch with Original Box - Very Good Condition

Three dedicated footswitches turn the original Strymon MultiSwitch into a simple way of getting much more hands-on control from compatible Strymon pedals without needing a MIDI controller. Designed primarily for the TimeLine, BigSky and Mobius, it can be used for bank navigation, preset access and tap tempo, while TimeLine users can also use it to control the onboard looper. This example comes with its original box.

Condition

This unit is in very good condition. It shows light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use, but presents well overall (see photos).

Most importantly, it is in very good working condition and ready to go straight into regular use.

Functionality

When paired with a compatible TimeLine, BigSky or Mobius, the MultiSwitch provides direct foot control over functions that would otherwise require more interaction with the pedal itself. Depending on the selected operating mode, it can be used to move through banks, access presets or provide an external tap-tempo control.

TimeLine users gain an additional benefit: the MultiSwitch can be configured to operate the pedal's looper, putting dedicated looping functions underfoot and making the TimeLine much easier to use as a live looping device.

The original MultiSwitch predates the later MultiSwitch Plus. The Plus retains the original model's functionality for TimeLine, BigSky and Mobius but adds LEDs, three outputs and compatibility with a wider range of Strymon products.

Playability and functionality

The appeal of the MultiSwitch is really its simplicity. Rather than adding another programmable MIDI controller to the board, it gives you three physical switches dedicated to the Strymon pedal you're already using.

Its narrow enclosure also makes it relatively easy to position underneath or alongside a TimeLine, BigSky or Mobius without taking up a large amount of pedalboard space. No separate mains supply is needed for the MultiSwitch itself, keeping cabling to a minimum. Strymon specifically confirms that the original MultiSwitch was not supplied with a power supply.

A great choice if you use one of Strymon's larger-format pedals and want quicker access to presets, tap tempo or TimeLine looping without moving into a full MIDI setup. With its original box included, this is a well-kept example of the now-discontinued original MultiSwitch.
