“Stevie Ray Vaughan Number One Stratocaster,” produced in a limited run of 100 guitars worldwide in 2004—has arrived in our used inventory!!

This item is virtually impossible to find on the market today, both domestically and internationally, and is currently trading at a premium price!!

“One of the Most Famous Stratocasters in the World...”

As stated in the opening subtitles of the included DVD, this tribute model is a faithful reproduction of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s “Number One”—

widely regarded as one of the most famous Stratocasters in the world.

With the cooperation of his older brother, Jimmy Vaughan, the original instrument was thoroughly analyzed, and even the placement of scratches and the texture of the era have been meticulously replicated.

All 100 units were crafted by master builder John Cruz, who enjoyed immense popularity even back then.

When it comes to Vaughan models, the Vaughan Brothers Stratocaster Set—released in 2018 as a limited edition of 30 sets worldwide—is still fresh in our memories.

However, while the 2018 tribute model recreated the specifications from around the time of his debut, this 2004 model

is a faithful replica of the surviving “Number One.” As a result, the entire body is deeply marked with battle-scarred damage,

and even the traces of replaced bridge pegs, the wear on the fingerboard end, the wire bridge slits, and the faded stickers have been faithfully reproduced.

It’s such a convincing instrument that you might find yourself wondering, “Didn’t he actually use this until just recently?”

When you actually play it, you’ll first be amazed by its quick response and rich, full sound. While the setup may play a role,

the wound strings sound powerful without any muddiness, and the open strings have a remarkably brilliant tone. Weighing approximately 3.37 kg,

it’s designed to be exceptionally lightweight for an alder body, giving the impression that the tonal range has been expanded.

Furthermore, while Ray Vaughan is famously associated with the Texas Special pickup, this model is equipped with a hand-wound pickup based on 1960s specifications,

resulting in a finish that is even more faithful to historical accuracy.

The included accessories are also exceptional: a custom flight case that even replicates the placement of the stickers, a leather gig bag,

the trademark musical note strap, a live DVD, and a documentary DVD capturing the project’s development are all included.

Because it has been carefully preserved, its condition is so excellent that it can safely be described as “mint condition.”

For fans, this is truly the ultimate, premium piece.
