1949 Olds Super Recording Trumpet in Excellent Condition with Olds Deluxe Case!

This highly desirable 1949 Olds Super Recording trumpet is in excellent condition!  Also in excellent condition is the included Olds deluxe case that is shown in the photos.  Only what is in the photos is included (i.e., a mouthpiece is not included).  The sale price is 20% off (a $1500 discount) so the price of this amazing trumpet is fixed (so no offers please).  The shipping cost includes shipping insurance.

I honestly wouldn't be selling this rare and amazing G.O.A.T. trumpet if I didn't need the money.

It is in amazing condition for a 77-year-old trumpet with only very tiny aesthetic blemishes due to lacquer wear (please zoom in on all photos).  I think it still looks beautiful, so I didn't mess with it, but someone could always get it relacquered in the near or distant future.

Aesthetics aside, this trumpet functions perfectly!  The lightning fast valves have excellent compression, as do all of the tuning slides.  It is hands down the best sounding trumpet I've ever played!  But I'm not the only one with this opinion.  The previous owner of this Super Recording trumpet said that he had it checked out at Anbrass Music in Los Angeles and they told him that it was "the best one they've come across."  They do work for Arturo Sandoval and Chris Botti, so that is saying a lot!

The rumors about Olds Super Recording trumpets are true, and this specific horn (SN: 31432) is one of the very best players of the surviving few that are still in excellent condition!
