1969 Gibson SG Special, Vibrola, and two soapbar P-90s. Iconic, harkening back to the summer of 1969, Pete Townshend windmilling his very similar Gibson at Woodstock. Pete was not the only rock god performing at Woodstock with one of these mighty axes—a young Carlos Santana was wielding one as well. This guitar has vibe, it has mojo, the alchemy of time—pick your poison with the superlatives—but this guitar has it.

If you want the vintage vibe, check. The fat single-coil tone of classic P-90s, check. Real wear and tear, not a relic, check. All for a price that won't break the bank.

This guitar shape has become as iconic as the Les Paul and the Strat, and with the tone and feel of this example, it's no wonder why.Other keywords/misspellings: 69, kalamzoo, rock, funk, the who, summer of love
