Roland R-5 Human Rhythm Composer digital drum machine and rhythm sequencer.

The R-5 was produced from 1989 to 1992 and features 68 internal instrument sounds, 16 performance pads, editable pitch and decay parameters, MIDI IN, OUT, and THRU, stereo outputs, and four individual outputs.

It provides 32 preset patterns and 100 programmable user patterns, making it suitable for music production, studio recording, MIDI sequencing, and live performance.
