This is the Steinberg SMP II SMPTE Midi Processor for the Atari Falcon/ST/STE. It will add 4 MIDI outs and 2 MIDI inputs to your Atari Cubase/Score Falcon workstation using the printer serial interface (cable not included).
It was designed for use on the Falcon but will work with the STE as well. On the STE, the time counter remains at zero during use unless you use a Falcon. I am not sure if the SMPTE functions works with an STE. It might, I've never used SMPTE. This SMP II was converted from Euro 220 50Mhz to US 110 60Mhz to work in the USA. I initially used it with a Falcon but recently been using it on my STE.
It is in excellent working condition. Cosmetically, it's got typical rack rash and wear you would expect to find on older gear.
This SMP II comes as pictured. I do not have a manual and I'm not including a serial cable. I will format a disk and put the MROS driver on it. Most Cubase MROS folders contain it, but I've run across one that didn't. It will be packaged very well and shipped insured through FedEX.
